Cyberspace cowboy
The bright, friendly people at ComplyWith make every day a good day—plus, where else can you talk cyberpunk and compliance in the same breath?
Andrew leads the charge on all things Product and Technology at ComplyWith. With a BA in Philosophy and a BSc in Computer Science from Victoria University of Wellington, he’s part deep thinker, part problem solver, and all-round tech wizard.
Before joining ComplyWith, Andrew was CTO at EndGame and Telos, where he helped build some pretty cool stuff — AI agents, security frameworks, ComplyWith (you read that right — he helped build ComplyWith before he worked here), and helped out with a few other well-known Wellington startups.
At ComplyWith, he spends his days analysing bugs, mapping out product strategy, and talking—a lot of talking. He played a key role in rebuilding ComplyWith’s next-generation compliance platform and gets a kick out of solving tricky problems that help make legal compliance simpler for everyone.
Outside work, Andrew is kept busy by his kids, tabletop games, and a love of video games and books (the more cyberpunk, the better). He’s also surprisingly fast in the water, though you won’t hear him brag about it—unless you bring it up first.
Andrew’s “Bobby Newmark” alter ego—rocking a pink jacket and wielding a puppet—is a nod to his love of cyberpunk culture and a playful reminder not to take life too seriously.
