It’s good to feel like you’re doing something that makes people’s lives a bit easier by enabling them rather than just telling them what to do.
Roger was born in Australia, grew up in Lower Hutt, and now lives in Wainuiomata with his family. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Victoria University of Wellington and has built a long and varied software career. Before joining ComplyWith, Roger worked for Oracle and EndGame, developing software-as-a-service products, including ComplyWith’s platform.
As a Software Engineer, Roger spends his days designing, building, testing, documenting, and fixing new and existing features across ComplyWith’s core software products. A typical day involves refining code, collaborating with the engineering team on the best approaches, and enjoying a good coffee.
Outside work, Roger is hands-on. He lives on a lifestyle block where he grows and builds things, cares for chickens, and battles blackberry. He’s a keen electric unicycle rider, plays piano and organ, coaches his daughter’s football team, and stays actively involved in his local church.
