About the job
In this role, you’ll use your highly organised and customer-focused approach to support our work to proactively drive success and add value for our customers throughout their entire customer journey.
You’ll work closely with customers to champion our tools across their organisations and work across a variety of projects and products.
Part of a small team reporting to the Head of Customer Experience, you’ll have opportunities to grow your career with ComplyWith as the business continues to expand.
This is a full-time role in our growing Customer Experience Team, based in our Wellington waterfront office.
What you'll be doing
In this diverse customer-focused role, your work will include:
- Supporting all aspects of customer work, including:
- Helping set up project plans, tracking time, and ticking off work against agreed project milestones
- Managing calendars, and scheduling and booking meetings
- Providing in-meeting support such as taking notes and helping with software demonstrations
- Supporting the set-up of surveys, monitoring those surveys, and helping report on survey results
- Regularly communicating with customers and helping them navigate our products, by phone, email, and video conference
- Helping develop meeting and communication templates
- Gathering and maintaining customer data
- You’ll also support the wider team and business, including:
- Advocating for our products at conferences and industry events
- Supporting internal projects
- Proactively completing recurring and ad-hoc admin tasks
- Contributing to process and team efficiency improvements.
You’ll have mentoring and support from senior team members to get up to speed.
You’ll work closely with other members of the Customer Experience Team to support our customers across our products.

- You start to become an expert in our software, knowing the best ways to extract data and being able to teach our customers to do the same
- You’re supporting a variety of projects, and are integral in keeping them running smoothly
- You’re proactively completing regular tasks and starting to anticipate customer needs.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for a people person with the skills to comfortably communicate with customers, who has a flexible approach and can grow with us as ComplyWith continues to accelerate.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
- A tertiary qualification is preferred but what’s more important is that you can demonstrate the ability to rapidly learn and understand new processes and systems in a technical environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; you’re able to pick up the phone and respond to customers
- An ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple projects, products and platforms and with a variety of people
- Great time and project management skills, with the ability to learn and apply new processes and systems
- A problem-solver with a drive to learn and take on new challenges in a collaborative and practical way
- An interest in the interface of the law, technology, client needs, and innovative creative thinking.
